PMS YONI Steam

Best to use this steam for PMS, cramps, clots, old residue or brown blood, and to assist in the breaking up of cysts.

Suggested Regimen: A daily 30 min. steam for 30 days. Stop steaming when menstruation begins.

1 TBS herbs : 80 oz water

Sacred Womb YONI Steam

Best to use this steam as a prep for conception and to increase fertility - cleanses and nourishes vaginal tissue, clearing of cysts and fibroids, increases blood circulation.

Steam can also be used to support healing post miscarriage and can ease the experience of postpartum.

Suggested Regimen: Monitor each menstrual cycle. This steam is used when flow has red and dark brown/black blood/clots. Start when cycle ends and continue for 28 days or 1 compete cycle. Stop the day your next cycle begins. If this next cycle is still a mixture of blood colors, then continue for another 28 day cycle or until flow starts. Once flow has become a bright beautiful red color all throughout, discontinue monthly ritual.

For fertility support, a daily 30 min. steam for 28 days. After that, 1 x week for 30 min helps maintain hormonal balance.

Balance YONI Steam

Best to use this steam for early periods, shorter cycles when there are 2 periods in one month, and for postpartum use during heavy bleeding.

Suggested Regimen: Once menstruation has stopped, do two 30 min. steams/weekly, evenly spaced apart. Discontinue steam when menstruation begins. Repeat each month as part of your self care regimen. Once cycle has regulated for three months, steam once a week as part of your feminine maintenance program.

Purification YONI Steam

Best to use this steam for the purification of tissue to support irregular vaginal discharge, bacterial or yeast infection, viruses, STD, & UTI. 

Suggested Regimen: A daily 30 min. steam for 30 days, minimum, until blood is a even red color. If brown blood occurs at next menstrual cycle, repeat for another month. Repeat monthly regimen for up to 3 months.

Discontinue steam when menstruation begins. Resume when menstruation ends.

Best to use this steam to assist in the balancing of uncomfortable symptoms of menopause and hormone imbalance such as hot flashes, moodiness, fatigue, and overall dryness.

Suggested Regimen: A daily 30 min. steam for 30 days. After that,    1 x week for 30 min. helps maintain hormonal balance.

Surya Spa YONI Steam Directions:

To prepare the herbal steam: In a medium to large pot, soft boil 10 cups of water with the lid on. Once boiling, add 1 heaping tablespoon of herbal mixture, keep covered, and let simmer for five minutes, reducing heat to medium-low. After 5 min, turn the heat off, keep covered and let steep for 10 minutes to brew & cool. Once you are ready to transport this warm herbal solution to the v-steam location, make sure the water is not too hot -- as you don't want to burn yourself. Vaginal and reproductive tissue are topically sensitive to heat. The intention of the v-steam is to be able to sit for the desired length of time of 30 minutes to receive the therapeutic benefits that the herbs have infused into the water and steam. 

For those who have a Surya Spa V-Steam Chair: place the pot on a trivet over a towel spread out on the floor, place the chair over the pot. Uncover the pot just prior to sitting upon the chair. Cover your entire body with a sheet or extra large towel to create a "body tepee" - which will keep the steam in and prevent your body from getting cold. 

For those who don't have a chair: place the pot on a trivet over a towel spread out on the floor and add an extra towel around the pot for added safety. Remove the lid and kneel over the pot. When time is complete, compost steam once it cools (plants will love it!!), sanitize chair and other materials in prep for your next v-steam!

Caution: It's best to not do Yoni Steams when pregnant or menstruating, when using an IUD, or within ten days of giving birth.
